SportyPulses exists to make sport easier to follow and understand. Accuracy, traceability and reader value take priority over publishing volume. The public site distinguishes upstream score data, external news discovery and original SportyPulses analysis so readers can judge each item correctly.

Discovery is not evidence

Google News and RSS feeds help identify developing stories across countries and languages. Those feeds are discovery tools only. A headline, snippet or ranking does not establish a fact. Central claims must be grounded in accessible original reporting, primary documents, governing-body records, league or team statements, or other attributable material closest to the event.

Source quality and disagreement

Official records and first-party statements are preferred for schedules, results, rules and direct announcements. Original reporting is preferred for reported events and quotations. Secondary sources can add context, but they should not be the sole support for a disputed central claim. When reliable sources materially disagree, the article should state the disagreement rather than silently choose the most dramatic version.

Assisted work

Automation may discover candidates, collect source text, synthesize a draft and perform a separate verification pass. The writing model is limited to the supplied evidence. It is instructed not to invent quotes, scores, dates, injuries, motives, statistics, experts or background. A different configured model compares material claims and separately checks voice, reader value and template signals before guarded auto-publication.

Failure and rejection

The system may attempt one bounded correction using the original evidence. If verification remains uncertain, no independent verifier completes, the structure stays mechanical or the evidence is insufficient, the attempt is rejected automatically and logged. A failed draft does not become publishable because a schedule is waiting.

Images, video and social posts

Every published article is checked for a remote featured image from directly relevant original coverage and for useful inline images. Image URLs must return a working image response, meet minimum dimensions and survive a relevance review. Captions link to the publisher page; files remain on the publisher host and are not copied to SportyPulses. YouTube and Instagram embeds must be directly relevant, load successfully and pass a separate high-confidence media match. Broken, misleading, generic or uncertain media is omitted.

Headlines, bylines and updates

Headlines should accurately summarize the article without promising facts the body cannot support. The “SportyPulses Research Desk” is a collective process byline, not a fictional eyewitness. Publication and update dates appear on articles. Material factual corrections should carry an explanatory note; routine spelling or formatting repairs may not.

Independence and conflicts

Advertising, sponsorship and traffic goals do not determine factual conclusions or verification outcomes. Paid material must be labeled. Material commercial relationships relevant to a review or recommendation should be disclosed on the page. Editors and operators should not publish unsupported favorable treatment in exchange for payment, access or gifts.

Reader accountability

Each source-backed article displays the evidence links used in its reporting. Readers can challenge a passage through the contact route. The detailed source methodology, AI transparency page and corrections policy are part of this standard.
