Fix the record clearly.
Effective July 17, 2026
Sport changes quickly, but speed does not excuse an inaccurate record. SportyPulses reviews specific, evidence-backed correction requests and distinguishes material corrections from clarifications, routine updates and cosmetic repairs.
How to request a correction
Email the editorial address on the contact page. Include the SportyPulses URL, exact disputed wording, why it is inaccurate and a reliable source supporting the requested change. A general objection without identifying a factual claim may be treated as feedback rather than a correction request.
How requests are reviewed
The desk compares the disputed passage with the article’s stored evidence pack and any new primary or original source supplied. For AI-assisted work, the operator can also inspect the source count, model route, verification score and verification notes. A source is not accepted merely because it agrees with the request; proximity, authority, timing and conflicts are considered.
Corrections, clarifications and updates
- Correction: a material factual statement was wrong and is changed. The page should explain the substance of the repair.
- Clarification: the original statement was not false but lacked context that materially affected understanding.
- Update: reliable new information developed after publication, such as a revised schedule or official decision.
- Cosmetic edit: spelling, grammar, formatting or a broken link is repaired without changing meaning.
Timing and visibility
Confirmed material errors should be repaired promptly. Complex or disputed claims can require additional sourcing. A correction note should be placed where readers can understand what changed; the update timestamp should also change. We do not silently rewrite a material factual error merely to protect the appearance of the original article.
What we do not change
We do not remove accurate reporting only because it is unfavorable, replace supported analysis with a reader’s preferred opinion, or erase a public record without a valid legal, safety or privacy reason. Requests involving rights or personal data follow the dedicated routes on the contact page.
