The Research Desk is the collective byline for source-bound SportyPulses articles created with AI assistance and published only after an independent evidence check.
It is not a fictional individual and does not claim to attend events, interview participants or witness breaking news. The byline identifies a documented production process: global discovery, original-source collection, constrained synthesis, a separate verification pass and a visible evidence list.
Evidence
A self-hosted SearXNG index locates original publisher or official pages, which are then fetched and stored as readable source text. Candidates without the configured minimum source count remain outside the generation queue.
Writing
The writing model receives only the evidence pack and instructions that prohibit invented quotes, scores, dates, injuries, statistics and background. Thin evidence produces a shorter article instead of padded prose.
Verification
A different configured model compares every material claim with the same source pack. Passing requires a high confidence score and no unsupported material claim. One evidence-bound repair is allowed; unresolved work is rejected automatically and retained as an audit record.
Accountability stays with SportyPulses
Models are tools, not editors with independent authority. The site records the writer route, verifier route, quality score, source list and job history so the operator can inspect what happened. Public pages display the source list and link back to this methodology.
