This policy describes browser storage and remote technologies used by SportyPulses. “Cookies” below also covers local storage, pixels and similar identifiers where they perform a comparable function. The exact cookies set by third parties can change as those providers update their services.

Essential session cookie

sportypulses_session is a secure, HTTP-only session cookie used to protect forms, subscriptions, polls and the admin login against cross-site request forgery. It is not an advertising profile. It expires when the browser session ends unless the browser preserves session state.

Local preferences

“My Pulse” sport choices and interface preferences can be kept in local browser storage so the same device remembers what you selected. This storage remains on the device and is not a SportyPulses user account. Clearing site data removes it.

Statcounter analytics

The Statcounter script helps measure aggregate visits, pages and technical usage. Depending on its configuration and your region, Statcounter may use cookies or related identifiers and can receive the requested page, referrer, device, browser and network information. Analytics should follow the consent choice presented where consent is required.

BYOViral badge

The BYOViral badge loads code and resources from byoviral.com. A remote provider necessarily receives the network request, including the visitor’s IP address, browser headers and the page initiating the request. Any cookies or further processing performed by that provider are governed by its own service and privacy terms.

Google advertising technologies

The Google AdSense script can support advertising, frequency control, fraud prevention, measurement and personalization after the service is approved and configured. Google and its partners may set or read advertising cookies and use device identifiers where permitted. Consent controls

Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but disabling essential storage may prevent forms or the admin area from working. In regions covered by Google’s consent-platform requirement, the site must deploy a Google-certified consent interface for relevant advertising choices. Consent can be withdrawn through that interface once configured or by clearing the applicable cookies.
